QSB Location
Northwestern has an active campus life that includes many student groups, performances, and spectacular recreation facilities. Being on the shores of Lake Michigan is a bonus and Northwestern has its own beach and sailing pavilion with wind-surfers, sailboats, and catamarans available for student use.
The university gives the city of Evanston a college town feel while also providing easy access to the world-class city of Chicago. Chicago, in its own right, is famous for its music, museums, theatre, nightlife, and sporting teams. Evanston is served both by subway, rail and bus lines that travel to and from Chicago.
Northwestern’s diversity allows students to customize their experience at Northwestern. Some students prefer to live in the urban setting of Chicago, while others prefer the college environment of Evanston.
